The good old lemon, salt, and pepper as a salad dressing is not going anywhere. Make sure you squeeze the lemon first and add a pinch of salt & pepper just before eating. This will help to keep the salad crunch intact. Otherwise, your salad is going to be soggy.

 

  1. Basic vinegar dressing –

  • Salt & pepper – as per taste

Adding good quality oil in salad dressing helps in better absorption of nutrients, and improves the satiety and texture of the salad. Extra virgin olive oil or cold pressed/filtered sesame oil or groundnut oil are the best choices to use in the salad.

  1. Peanut butter – 1 tablespoon
  2. Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
