How to make turmeric tea with fresh turmeric root

  • Boil 3-4 cups of water in a pan

  • Add 2 tsp of grated fresh turmeric to it

  • Add ½ tsp of freshly crushed black pepper

  • Add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder

  • Let the concoction boil for 5-10 minutes

  • Add 1 tsp of unheated and unprocessed raw honey

  • Add a few drops of lemon

  • Stir well

  • Serve warm
